I've never been much of a background artist, but these backgrounds were fun to do.


It seems right to have Ammy with brown eyes~
Waka has been decided to have green eyes.
Even though most Japanese people in the Nippony time probably would have had mostly brown eyes.
Green suits him better.

Even though most audiences never notice it much, this technique of using the characters to rant for you is very common.
Whenever someone wants to bring up a valid point about something, other people don't really care and just ignore them.
So, through use of literature, or through use of (comic) art, like mine, people bring up their underheard statements.
However, if the comic was about themselves, people would just ignore it anyways, so they use the characters of said game/movie/cartoon/etc to say it for them.
Therefore you get a ventrilloquist, as I shall now call them.
However, not all vertrilloquists are the same.
I use this form of vertrilloquism quite a bit, however, I often do not notice it, since I only think of it as a joke instead of a statement I want to make.

Other ventrilloquists may not notice that they are ventrilloquists unless the analyse their comics/literature/artwork.
Therefore, vertrilloquism is fine.
However, other do make comics just for the sake of ranting.
These are fine too, only these ventrilloquists are easier to make out compared to the ones who don't know they are ventrilloquists.
The main difference, that I can tell, is that generally ventrilloquists who are making comics just so they can rant often have characters out of character.
Like Waka in frame three.
He would never sympathise with me, or even care if I waste more of my time on Symphonia comics than on Okami comics.
I'm just making my own parody of this by making one myself.
Who knows how that works.
So, that's what is up with the comic above.

I can think of one artist I've seen on DA who a ranter ventrilloquist, but I don't want to point fingers.
I'm just forewarning people so they don't make similar mistakes.
