Apparently the fact that Shiranui being a female really bothers people.
Keep in mind that this comic was written and drawn before Okamiden was even announced.
And this design of Shiranui as an old lady is one I designed a long time ago, but never had the courage to actually post.
And I like it.
It makes sense in my head canon.
But, if you want to keep with the real canon, then just pretend Shiranui's a cross dresser.
