Hall of Fame Wiki by Cherry-sama Hall of Fame Wiki by Cherry-sama
The sad sad truth.
If you're famous, then you have a wiki article made about you.
Gandhi has a wikipedia article: [link]
Michael Jackson has a wikipedia article: [link]
Robert Pattinson has a wikipedia article: [link]
Even Neil Cicierega has a wikipedia article: [link]
I swear, wikipedia is the internet's "Hall of Fame".
=____=

Anyways, sorry for the spazztic size.
I wanted you to be able to read it.
And since (for stamps anyway) this is a lot of text.
Soooooo.....

Oh dear.
I should be doing homework.
...Crap.

Wikipedia (c) [link]
Stamp (c) Me
...Wait.
Do I need to copywrite this?

I'm sorry, but I don't understand this statement - do you have on mind that it's bad that famous people are described in Wikipedia o_O (I'm sorry, if your point is clear, but I simply don't understand it at this moment)

Um...I'm having trouble understanding your comment.
What exactly are you having trouble understanding?

I had on mind that I get an impression that you think that it's bad that if somebody is famous, there's a Wikipedia article about him/her/them. I just couldn't understand, what's bad in this fact. Later I realized that you might have had on mind that Wikipedia should be only about really important things/people... but then I don't understand, why you've mentioned Gandhi and Michael Jackson, who are described in regular encyclopedias as well.

Um, the stamp's message wasn't meant to be taken in a negative manner.
I'm assuming English isn't your first language (nothing to be ashamed of), based on your grammar, but the stamp is saying that being on Wikipedia is a good thing, and is a sign that indicates that you are famous.
I think maybe you got confused about the wording?

A, I see now ^^ Thank you for your explanation :)

Yes, /english is not my first language, so probably I was confused due to something... I  don't remember well, but maybe it was because I found your stamp in some favourites folder, which was full of negative stamps :blushes: The other reason is probably the fact I was a (Polish) Wikipedia editor in the past and I've met a couple of times with such criticism that Wikipedia is worthless, because it features informations about not-so-useful-and-important-things ^^;

I'm sorry for misunderstanding you :(

That's okay.
:D
It's an easy mistake.

I use Wikipedia all the time, so I would be a giant hypocrite if I made a stamp saying it's bad.

Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia.
And it's REALLY large.
It has almost anything with a brand name, a whole bunch of net slang, and biographies on really famous people.
And though a lot of the stuff isn't all that accurate (because anyone can edit any page), it really is a useful resource.
The only things with close to 100% accuracy is constantly updating stuff like Naruto and Bleach.

I heard this one tale in Social Studies class, some Walmart Employees changed the Walmart Wikipedia Article so that instead of the truth about how badly they treat some employees, to stuff like "no, that's not true" and "oh, that's only a rumour".
However, they were tracted down, and sued.
So, not all of the stuff's trustworthy...
But quite a bit of it is.

Does it count if a term you used and became popularized is put in a wiki?

I'm not sure.
Maybe we should wiki it.
:XD:

Did you come up with a term that became popularized?
:?

:iconendermon:
Endermon Featured By Owner Oct 24, 2009
Yeah, it was technically already a word before the use, just not applied in the context at the time.

The term was 'Synchronize', lit; "To sync". The context is in reference of the preceding act to Synchro summoning in the Yugioh card game. [link]
